When you have a session where the little one pretty much smiles her way through every shot ….. that kind of session:) Meet little Alice at 7 weeks old. It still amazes me how much these little people change in just a matter of weeks. Much of my newborn work is focussed on little ones under 17 days old and for the most part they are away with the fairies leaving me as a newborn photographer to work my magic. Occasionally for one reason or another I get the opportunity to capture slightly older newborns and what we manage to capture in these sessions really varies depending on the little one. On many occasions we get to capture some really amazing awake shots and possibly a few sleepy classic newborn posed shots should the little one decide to nod off, that said, it is always the little one who determines how it will play out on the day at this age! Little Alice had no plans what so ever to nod off but it really is an absolute joy getting to work with a real smiler – her little grins and expressions are priceless and she really didn’t want to miss a thing. It was also fantastic getting to see how her big brother had grown up as i initially got to meet him and capture all is cheeky grins at 7 months.
