An extra special post today… Meet the gorgeous little Freddy 12 days old and his very proud big sister Susie <3
I met Freddy’s mum a few years ago through networking and we instantly hit it off. At the time however, heartbreakingly, Aimee and her family were going through a very difficult time having just lost their beautiful little baby girl Grace at one day old. Over the following years i have known her, Aimee has done so much in the way of fundraising and raising awareness for people and organisations that helped them at that time and i really wanted to do something for her and her family that they could treasure and also to welcome little Freddy to the world. A few words from Aimee.. ‘Anna and I have been friends for a few years after meeting through a networking event. I’ve followed her work and have always marvelled at her talent – so when she offered to do a session with Freddy we jumped at the chance. Freddy is our rainbow baby, a little miracle who arrived two years after we lost his sister Grace at one day old. Grace was born with serious heart problems and despite the best efforts of the doctors at the John Radcliffe hospital she was just too poorly to live. Because of what had happened with Grace, my pregnancy with Freddy was quite stressful. Our worry intensified when I had complications during my third trimester and we thought we might lose him. These beautiful photos mean the world to us as they capture the love and strength contained within our little family. I see Grace in every picture – not only because Freddy looks so much like her but because she is always with us in everything we do. I can’t thank Anna enough for documenting this special time for us so beautifully. We will treasure these pictures forever’.
