Normally it is usual for us to get the little ones in for their newborn session under two weeks of age if at all possible and you will hear many a newborn photographer talk about the benefits of scheduling this type of session at this stage. Its an ideal time frame for those classic newborn poses, when they are still loving being curled up in those womb like positions and are less easily disturbed. HOWEVER….. that is not to say that we can not get gorgeous images with our slightly older newborn clients. Take little Baby ‘H’ below who came to the studio at 7 weeks of age, what an absolute sleepy head and handsome little chap. In actual fact, this little guy proved every theory wrong by sleeping throughout most of his session and allowing us to capture pretty much every shot i would expect from a 10 day old!!!! High Five Baby ‘H’, you were a dream to work with!
